2010 Sunfish Registration

2010 Sunfish Regional Notice of Race & Event Information

- This race will be governed by the 2009-2012 The Rules of Sailing, this NOR, Sunfish Class rules,

sailing instructions (available at registration) and appendixes.

- Sunfish class will have their own event circle for all races off Barrington Beach

- Each boat must display a easy to read racing number on both sides of sail.

- Each sailor must be a Sunfish Class member and must provide card or proof of membership.

- USCG approved life jacket must be worn while on water.

- Low point scoring system will be used.

- One throw out race will be allowed for scoring of 6 or more races completed.

- All liquor or other alcoholic beverages consumed on BYC property MUST be purchased from

BYC. No alcoholic beverages allowed on Barrington Beach.

BARRINGTON BEACH INFORMATION

Race will be staged from Barrington Beach East side (To the left when you get to the beach).

Special arrangements have been made with the town to allow the boats to be stored on the beach

Saturday night and security will be provided.

ACCOMODATIONS

Motels - Best area is in town of Seekonk, MA on Route 6: Ramada Inn, Hampton Inn, Motel 6 etc.

No camping available at BYC

Dana Rice building at BYC has showers and bathrooms available 24 hrs. to racers.

FEES & REGISTRATION

$50.00 per boat - includes reception dinner, awards, Saturday lunch and Sunday pizza.

($5.00 discount for US Sail Members)

Advance registration to BYC by MAY 30th 2010, after the 30^th there is a $ 10.00 late registration fee.

Barrington Yacht Club - 1-195 East to Rout 114 south through Barrington Center, 1st right after

crossing bridge onto Barton Avenue to Yacht Club at end of street. Directions to Beach will be at club.
